FAQ’s

What should I expect on the first visit?

Each session will last for approximately 50 minutes, which is considered to be one clinic hour. One of the most important things that you can do is to get your paperwork completed prior to your appointment, this way we won’t spend a lot of extra time during our session on paperwork. You can do this by downloading the forms from this website or coming into the office 30 minutes prior to your appointment time. The evaluation period is likely to last for the first 1-2 sessions. We will work towards defining the problems and then forming goals to work on related issues.

How confidential is my information?

All of your health Information is protected by law under the Health Information Privacy Act (HIPAA). Basically, I cannot release any of your information without your written permission. There are, however, exclusions which are addressed in my new client information packet. Secure communication is also addressed in this packet.

What is the cost for treatment?

Cost for treatment:  I charge $130 for the initial evaluation and $110 per clinic hour (50 minutes) for all subsequent visits. Please note that I am an out of network provider. If you wish to use your insurance for treatment, your insurance provider will need to accept “out of network benefits”. I encourage you to contact your provider prior to your appointment if you wish to use your insurance for payment.

What types of payments are accepted?

I accept cash, checks, MasterCard, Visa, AMEX & DISC.
